EUROPE, CURRENCIES AND COMMODITIES

In spite of everything, the Ibex and the rest of the European stocks have started the week without the reference of Wall Street with a fairly empty agenda this Monday. Aside from the variable income, the main character is still the euro that is still rising above the 1.22 (1.2264 + 0.52%). The latest news coming from the European Central Bank, with that open possibility of rising the rates quicker than expected and a political agreement in Germany where the coalition of Angela Merkel and Martin Schulz’s parties have catapulted the European stocks last week.

TECHNICAL ANALYSIS

José María Rodríguez the technical analyst of Bolsamanía has explained that in the last five sessions, the Ibex has just moved between 10,400 points and 10,500 points. Nevertheless, it places itself at 1% of the important resistances of 10,600 points, highs of November. “Only over this resistance and preferably during the week and with a bit of room will we have the important sign of strength,” says the analyst. Also he points out that the banks are still a symbol of strength and “only with them will we manage to go over the resistance successfully”. Although, Rodríguez adds that what would be ideal is that Inditex and Telefónica would go along with the bank.
