Los directores de Juego de Tronos y Homeland entre los nominados a los Directors Guild of America 2016

La asociación americana de directores ha anunciado ahora los nominados a sus premios (Directors Guild of America ) tanto en el apartado de cine (días atrás) como en el de las series, y en este segundo podemos decir que destacan las nominaciones a los directores de Juego de Tronos y Homeland.

Juego de Tronos destaca en la categoría de drama con nominación al director David Nutter tras ganar este en Septiembre el Emmy por la dirección del quinto episodio de la quinta temporada, «Mother’s Mercy».

Nutter competirá frente a  Lesli Linka Glatter (Homeland), Matthew Weiner (Mad Men), Michael Engles (Downton Abbey) y Steven Soderbergh (The Knick).

En el apartado de comedia, Louis C.K. (Louie) está nominado frente a Chris Addison (Veep), Mike Judge (Silicon Valley), Gail Mancuso (Modern Family) y Jill Soloway (Transparent).

Show Me a Heroy The Wiz Live! aparecen también en la lista de nominadas por la dirección de Mejor Miniserie o Película televisiva.

Los ganadores se darán a conocer en la 68 ceremonia de los DGA Awards el 6 de Febrero que se celebra en el Hyatt Regency Century Plaza de Los Angeles. Jane Lynch conducirá el evento.
