The Americans lidera en las nominaciones a los Critics’ Choice Awards 2019

La asociación de periodistas de televisión ha anunciado la listas de películas y series nominadas a los Critic´s Choice Awards 2019.

En el apartado televisivo, este año destaca la temporada final de The Americans, más la serie limitada Escape at Dannemora y The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story con cinco nominaciones cada una. Además, HBO y Netflix se unieron para presumir de honores con 20 nominaciones cada una. Al igual que en la competencia del Globo de Oro, This Is Us no logró nominación como Mejor Serie de Drama (aunque sí nominaciones para Milo Ventimiglia y Justin Hartley) y tampoco lo están otras favoritas en los Emmy o Globos de Oroo, Game of Thrones, The Handmaid’s Tale, Stranger Things o The Crown. Sí que están como nominadas a Mejor Serie, The Good Fight de CBS All Access,  Homecoming de Amazon, Killing Eve de BBC America, Pose de FX, My Brilliant Friend y Succession de HBO además de The Americans and Better Call Saul .

Amy Adams consiguió por su parte una nominación por Sharp Objects de HBO como Mejor Actriz y una como Actriz Secundaria por el film, Vice.

Los ganadores serán revelados en la gala de los Critics’ Choice Awards que se emite en The CW, el 13 de enero.
