Juego de Tronos, The Crown, The Americans, Atlanta y The Handmaid´s Tale entre las series nominadas a los Premios Emmy 2018

Samira Wiley (The Handmaid´s Tale) y Ryan Eggold (New Amsterdam) han sido los encargados de anunciar las nominaciones a los Emmy 2018 y la propia Wiley se ha llevado una segunda nominación por su trabajo en The Handmaid´s Tale como mejor actriz de reparto (SERIE que por cierto domina con ocho nominaciones en las categorías importantes).

En número de nominaciones, Juego de Tronos domina con 22, seguida de Westworld con 21 nominaciones y The Handmaid´s Tale con 20 nominaciones. Además The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story se ha llevado 18 nominaciones, mientras que Atlanta es la comedia más nominada con 16 nominaciones.

En dramas This is Us y Westworld coinciden en nominaciones al mejor actor (dos cada una), pero además The Americans logra una merecidísima nominación tanto para Matthew Rhys como Keri Russell así como a Mejor serie, gracias a su última temporada y se las verá entre otras, contra Juego de Tronos, Stranger This o The Crown.

En cuanto a comedias Atlanta, Glow,The Marvelous Mrs Maise, Insecure, Black-ish y Barry están entre las elegidas.

En Series limitadas tenemos también nombres destacados como Antonio Banderas por Genius, Benedict Cumberbatch por Patrick Melrose, Darren Cris por American Crime Story, Laura Dern por The Tale o Jessica Biel por The Sinner. Además Genius, ACS, Patrick Melrose están entre las nominadas a mejores series limitadas.

Los 70s premios Emmy Primetime, se emitirán el lunes 17 de septiembre por NBC. La ceremonia de este año, transmitida desde el Microsoft Theater de Los Ángeles, será presentada por Michael Che y Colin Jost de Saturday Night Live.
