Class : Patrick Ness no estará en la posible segunda temporada

Patrick Ness, creador del spin-off de Doctor Who, ha anunciado a través de las redes sociales que no estára de vuelta para una posible segunda temporada de la serie de BBC.

El creador contó a los fans a través de una serie de mensajes que ha decidido alejarse de la serie al margen de si renueva o no para una segunda temporada.

Ness ha explicado como de haber renovado ya deberían estar rodando pero BBC parece darle prioridad a Doctor Who y lo que él llama «Nuevos ciclos» para esta serie, con otro protagonista (por determina) y showrunner, de modo que el retraso que existe realmente con Class, y que no haya sido renovada todavía le llevaría a haber decidodo alejarse de la serie.

La nueva serie, que se ha emitido en BBC Three se ha centrado en la Academia Coal Hill, escuela que ha aparecido y sido mencionada en Doctor Who desde 1963 a la que acuden los protagonistas encargados además de luchar contra temibles criaturas y sus fans esperan que renueve aunque ahora sea ya sin su creador.

I remain baffled by the sched decisions of BBC1, which were odd for a critically-acclaimed show. But again, I’m so grateful for the chance!
