Louis C.K. y Jodie Foster entre los directores de series nominados a los DGA Awards 2015

Tras anunciar sus películas nominadas, los  Directors Guild of America han revelado ahora los nombres de los directores de series que han sido nominados para su entrega de premios de 2015 y entre los que han sido destacados tenemos a algunos tan conocidos como Louis C. K o Jodie Foster.

Foster aparece nominada hasta en dos ocasiones gracias, en parte, a su trabajo como directora en la aclamada House of Cards y compitiendo con otros directores de series de sobras conocidos como Cary Joji Fukunaga (True Detective), Dan Attias (Homeland), Lesli Linka Glatter (Homeland) y Alex Graves (Game of Thrones)

La directora, pero también conocida actriz, también está en nominada la categoría de comedia ya que dirigió Orange is the New Black. Otros directores de esta categoría son  Louis C.K. (Louie), Mike Judge (Silicon Valley), Gail Mancuso (Modern Family) y Jill Soloway (Transparent).

Ryan Murphy está también entre los directores nominados gracias a su trabajo tras la cámara con el telefilm The Normal Heart y en una categoría en la que compite contra Rob Ashford & Glenn Weiss (Peter Pan Live!), Lisa Cholodenko (Olive Kitteridge), Uli Edel (Houdini) y Michael Wilson (The Trip to Bountiful).

La gala de los DGA Awards 2015 se celebra el 17 de Febrero en el hotel Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. Jane Lynch será la presentadora del evento.
