At the top of the table has been accompanied by Mapfre, which has risen 2.41%.
The banking sector has been boosted by the good performance of CaixaBank, which has risen 0.91%, to 3.86 euros. The profit of the entity was 649 million euros, above that estimated by the consensus of FactSet.
These results are marked by the integration of Portuguese bank BPI. In addition, they are made public in the midst of doubts about the future impact of the crisis in Catalonia. Following the results, Gonzalo Gortázar, CEO of CaixaBank, said that "the impact on the current situation can be seen to a greater or lesser extent reflected in 2018".
