Santander yesterday drilled, in intraday, the support of the 4.95 euros
The Ibex tries to overcome the falls of the first three sessions of the week and, for the moment, trades with slight rises of 0.27%. Banks give it a break and are at the top of the Ibex, which pushes the Spanish index off the possibility of breaking down 9,250 points in closing prices.
But to see these increases, the banks have to give permission to the Ibex and it seems that they are not for the work. The hangover of the results of financial institutions weighs on the environment and, since late last week, when Popular published its accounts, the feeling around the banks of the Ibex is not just good.
This Thursday will not only talk about Spanish banks, because other European entities have submitted their accounts. Société Générale has gained 40% less in the fourth quarter but has exceeded estimates. Commerzbank has earned 279 million in 2016, down 74.3%.
