The best performance of the day was Grifols after it finished 2.31% higher, accompanied by Aena with a rise of 0.99%, and Amadeus with a gain of 0.96%.

However, Friday’s session was marked by the fall of Repsol, after the oil giant picked up the wooden spoon of the day, finishing 1.27% lower. Gamesa fell 1.24% and Viscofan lost 1.19%. The Ibex’s heavyweights performed poorly, including Telefonica, Inditex, BBVA, Iberdrola and Santander.

In the general stock exchange the biggest talk of the day was Abengoa when it finished 29.85%, followed by Urbas with a lift of 13.04% and Gam which grew 3.45%.

On Friday Deutsche Bank released a note about Gas Natural Fenosa, which pushed the company led by Isidre Fainé to a gain of 0.58%. The German bank follows other banks such as UBS and Macquarie which this week raised their recommendations and target prices on the hopes of restructuring in the next few months.

Berenberg also raised the target price of Telefonica from 10.36 euros to 10.70 euros, a rise of 0.3%. Telefonica’s shares fell 0.67%.

Bolsamania technical analyst José María Rodríguez said that “Friday’s session was useful to us so we can clear up that the Ibex 35 has a small resistance zone of 10,330 points, and only above this can it climb towards a new one.”

“The most immediate support is found at the lows of Wednesday, at 10,092 points. Perforating it would allow us to draw a small figure of a return to lower levels.”

Wall Street, at the half-way point, was registering mixed results of 0.03% lower in the case of the Dow Jones. The Nasdaq had gained 0.45%, and the S&P 500 a gain of 0.14%. The euro rose 0.27% against the dollar, while West Texas gained 0.19% to 47.76 dollars, and Brent was flat at 50.54 dollars per barrel.
