The Ibex extend the increases of the last session this Tuesday (+ 0.45%. 6,866 points). Wall Street did well too, as did Asia this morning. In the case of the Spanish index, the falls in banks or Inditex weigh negatively. On the positive side, the increases in Repsol, Telefónica, IAG and Meliá stand out.

Donald Trump has left the hospital, and that reassures the market. Normality prevails again and the lack of uncertainty is always good. The electoral campaign resumes its march. Remember that this Wednesday the debate between the two candidates for the US vice presidency will take place.

At the moment there is no news about the stimulus package that is to be approved on the other side of the Atlantic to alleviate the effects of Covid-19. Hopes that it will pass soon, along with Trump's improvement, helped lift stocks on Monday. Experts say that this will be the first issue that awaits Donald Trump in the Oval Office as soon as he rejoins.

In other matters, the Reserve Bank of Australia has kept interest rates unchanged at 0.25%, meeting forecasts. The central bank predicts that the jump in the unemployment rate will not be as high as initially thought, and is evaluating the possibility of additional relief from the labor market.

At the Conservative party conference in the UK, Rishi Sunak, Chancellor of the Exchequer, vowed to find ways to "support people and business."

The agenda for this Tuesday includes the appearances of several officials of the central banks. The president of the ECB, Christine Lagarde, the chief economist of the ECB, Philip Lane, or the president of the Federal Reserve (Fed), Jerome Powell, will speak in different forums.
