The Ibex manages to save the session, despite losing steam, thanks to tourism sector
Iberdrola, Endesa, Red Eléctrica and Aena have published their results

The Ibex 35 has managed to save the session and has closed with rises of 0.21%. The selective has reached over 8,300 points but has lost steam and has not managed to save this level. The gains were reduced coinciding with the bearish opening of Wall Street as a result of the rise in the yield of the public debt, especially in the US 10-year Treasury bonds, which has rebounded to 1.4%.
The selective Spanish led the gains among the large European indices thanks to the pull of the tourism and banking sectors. And this Wednesday, the values associated with tourism again lead the increases, but banks and electricity companies do not support the index.
At the present time of the day, investors look into a multitude of business results, such as those of Iberdrola, Endesa, Red Eléctrica and Aena, among other companies.
Endesa has earned 1.3bn euros in 2020 and has proposed a dividend of 2.01 euros gross per share charged to last year's results.
In addition, Iberdrola has presented a profit of 3.6bn euros and expects a dividend of 0.44 euros for 2021.
And Red Eléctrica (-5.88%) has gained 13.1% less, amounting 621.2 million, due to provisions made in Hispasat, its satellite business.
For its part, Aena has lost 126 million euros in 2020 after a 50% drop in its income due to the pandemic. And despite the fact that it has not offered forecasts for 2021, the news that the British have triggered vacation reservations to Spain for the summer benefits the value, as well as the rest of values associated with tourism.
In the Continuous, the strong earnings of Grenergy Renovables (+ 7%) stand out after some results that the market liked. In addition, Ence has also advanced after publishing its figures yesterday, after the market closed.
Telefónica, which has changed its CEO in Spain, will present its results on Thursday with the focus on a possible cut in its dividend, together with ACS, Meliá or Ferrovial. In addition, on Friday we will see results from Amadeus, Grifols, Acerinox or Sacyr, among others.
In the US, Wall Street closed mixed but far from intraday lows, especially in the case of the Nasdaq, which fell by more than 2%. The words of Jerome Powell, chairman of the Fed, who described the future rise in inflation as "transitory", reassured the market. Although the rise in bond yields has put downward pressure on American futures and Asian stock markets have experienced a negative day.
On an economic level, Germany's GDP was slightly better than expected in the fourth quarter, showing an advance of 0.1%, compared to the expected fall of 0.3%.
OTHER MARKETS AND TECHNICAL ANALYSIS
In other markets, Brent oil rises 0.6% to $ 65.78, while analysts raise their forecast for the price of crude oil to $ 70 per barrel for 2021. In addition, the euro falls in value 0.13% and it changes to $1.2133.
On the other hand, the profitability of the Spanish 10-year bond rises to 0.38%, while bitcoin rises strongly by 5%, to $ 49,350; and the ounce of gold rises 0.1% to $1,808.
By technical analysis, the Spanish selective is trying to overcome the resistance of 8,260 points. "Watch out for a close above this price level, as we could end up seeing an extension of the gains to the level of 8,439 points, annual highs in early January. The first support level could be placed at 8,000 points "says César Nuez, an analyst at Bolsamanía.
